Are You A Sugarolic

Filed under: home_decor — admin @ 7:28 am

A sugarolic is just as addicted as an alcoholic. You need the stimulation, your drug is the sugar instead of alcohol or cocaine. When you eat sugar you give your brain extra Serotonin, a hormone in your brain which makes you feel good. When the effect of the sugar is gone you feel worse and you eat more sugar. It`s like a roller coaster, you get high on sugar, down without.

Here are some of the symptoms:

* Sleep deprive
* Mood swings
* Lack of energy
* Pain
* Temperature swings in your body
* Weight gain
* Exhaustion
* Migraine
* Depression
* Trembling

The sugar level in a can of coke or similar is equivalent to 10-12 teaspoons sugar, in just one can! We need approximately 3-4 teaspoons sugar every day.

To make changes and take back your healthy life, you should eat meat, fish, cheese, eggs, beans, vegetables. You should be careful with fruit, since fruit contains sugar. If you are careful with sugar, you can eat a couple of fruits daily. Beware the sugar added in ready made food. Take time to read the ingredient in the food you buy, you will be amazed how much sugar added.

If you`re a sugarolic you need 2-3 weeks to detox your body from sugar. If you stay away from sugar completely in this period, you will experience to get your energy back, your headaches will disappear (may increase the first weeks)and you will lose weight.

Also beware sugar free products, artificial sugar has the same effect as sugar, sometimes even more addictive.

Drink a lot of water while you detox.

The Healthy Eating Rules

Filed under: home_decor — admin @ 3:28 am

Dieting is all about healthy eating, not to put yourself in a dieting prison. You need to learn how to change your eating habits permanently.

Keep a food diary. Write down what you eat - including the snacks. It`s also a good idea to write down when and where you eat. This will help you to identify the food and the occasions when you tend to overeat. This information is useful to help you decide what to cut out without feeling deprived.

Identify your must-have food. If you totally ban the must-haves you will soon have a downfall. Look at your diary and see how often you eat the food you can not live without. Work out ways to include it, but in smaller quantities.

Work on the principles of swaps. Continue to eat the things you love, but swap it to a smaller portion or a fat reduced product. Swap your chocolate bar for one square of the best quality dark chocolate.

Make cooking a priority again. Get back to eating unprocessed food, wholegrain bread, cheese, meat and vegetables.

* Rethink portions.
* Follow packet portion sizes.
* Use smaller plates.
* Only cook what you need. Leftovers tend to be eaten no matter how full you are!
* If leftovers - freeze immediately!
* Beware of restaurant portions - Choose two starters instead of a large main course.
* Always leave a gap before having dessert.

7 Tips For Your Home Interior

Filed under: home_decor — admin @ 4:10 am

A home is built with collected memories. Add warmth and comfort and you have the perfect sanctuary!

Cushions in floral patterns mix well with plain or striped cushions. Buy some inexpensive cushions and add one or two expensive ones if you like.
Table runners are also great to add some new color to your home. Match the table runner with your cushions or buy two or three and use as place mats.

1. Rule number one in decorating - there are no rules!
2. Adjust the light in rooms. Light needs to be softer in rooms you “live”in and bright in rooms you “work” in. You can moderate light using blinds and shutters. Curtains are not always necessary.
3. Mix expensive and inexpensive items.
4. There are no formulas for choosing colors: find your personal spectrum. What is important is to create a sense of harmony, and that does not necessarily mean colors that match. Burned terracotta/orange might go well with deep red. Green might go well with the right shade of blue. Be bold!
5. Get inspiration from books and interior magazines, or visit museums to find inspiration from the past.
6. Try combining different textures and colors in interiors.
7. Use loose covers on upholstery to bring inexpensive changes.
